TrueVan is a class-B RV manufacturer that emphasizes having all the comforts of home on the road. Before joining the TrueVan family, I hadn’t had any experience working in this industry before.

I oversee a small team in developing products, leading production, and expanding our customer acquisition endeavors. In the short time I’ve been with the company, we released 3 new van models while simultaneously tripling our production output.

VAN MODELS

TrueVan Horizon

The Horizon is the newest floorplan and is designed to be as affordable as possible. We were able to reduce the price of this model by 50% compared to the Vision X while sacrificing very little in quality and features.

TrueVan Mirage

The Mirage provides more room and features a power lift bed. It’s a longer wheelbase van and we were able to produce it with 60% of the same components that were designed for the Vision X. These shared components reduced development time, production complexity, and overall cost in new development, tooling, and training.

TrueVan Vision X

The Vision X was designed to define opulence on wheels. All the comforts of a Class-A RV in the packaging of a short-wheelbase van. It sits and sleeps four people and has a full bathroom and shower. Everything inside is designed to transform and serve multiple purposes to maximize utility on the road.

Rhinovan was started as a component subsidiary of TrueVan.

Rhinovan allowed us to develop products for the retail and wholesale market so that we can increase our TAM by not only selling direct-to-consumer components, and fulfill B2B customers as well!

User Manuals

Due to the start-up nature of TrueVan and Rhinovan, I also developed the technical user manuals for component installs since I knew the products inside and out.

Some of these products were developed without retail in mind so working backwards was quite an interesting challenge!
