mophie | Sr. Product Designer | Tustin, CA
May 2012 - Present
I'm responsible for developing the look and feel of mophie's product line. Since my employment at mophie began, I've been responsible for designing the juice pack line as well as all supporting ecosystem products such as the desktop dock and car dock. I also handle all mobile handset accessories unrelated to iOS such as the HTC ONE; Samsung Galaxy S4; Samsung Galaxy S5; and, most recently, the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge.
I work closely with in house mechanical and electrical engineers to ensure that our products are able to be manufactured and hold to the strict tolerances that we establish. When issues arise in the production cycle, I work directly on-site with our manufacturing partners in China to help resolve all open issues and bring the product to market without sacrificing mophie's design integrity or jeopardizing the schedule.
The latest example of my efforts, as of this update, is the announcement of the H2Pro for the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. mophie's very first fully waterproof battery case that meets (and exceeds!) both iP68 and MILSTD-810.
